The Arrowhead Ice Trail is back for 2013 and continues to attract folks from afar looking for a unique skating experience.  The trail, at 1.5 km, is considerably longer than last year.  The quality of the ice surface has also improved due to Arrowhead’s new ice re-surfacing machine.  This popular attraction winds through campground roads and trails and also has a campfire that is lit on weekends or by special request.  The trail is open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm for the month of February (to 6:00pm in March).

If you don’t have skates, don’t worry you can rent a pair at the park for $6.00. The park also offers skate sharpening for $5.00.

Art Froid is a brand new event planned for February.  View large snow sculptures, created by local artistic talent, along the Ice Trail.  The trail will be lit by the night with over 100 tiki torches on February 9th,16th and 17th when the park will be open until 9pm.

For updates due to changing weather conditions check online or simply call the park (705 789-5105 x221) before you come to ensure the ice trail is open.
