Sila's Summer: A Young Canoeist's Adventure in Northern Ontario |
In 1983, Gary and Joanie paddled through Quetico Provincial Park on a 6,000-mile canoe journey across Canada. They return to this iconic park with their young daughter, Sila, for a summer's adventure. Travel with the McGuffins along the historic fur trade route of the Dawson Trail, as they idscover pictograph walls, ancient campsites, and age-old trails connecting a vast lake system where people have lived and travelled for thoushands of years. 8 PM, Outdoor Theatre (at km 35.4). |

Loggers Day |
A highly entertaining and educational day at the Algonquin Logging Museum (near the East Gate) that includes the Wakami Wailers singing shanty songs, and demonstrations around the Logging Museum trail. Admission is $1 per person. Also available is an old-time loggers’ lunch for $6 per person served in the sawlog cookery from noon to 2:00 PM (or while quantities last).
